Wahh! I have been so bad....havent been catching up with Blogs for nearly a month. Had been so crazily busy, coming home near midnite, no energy to even blog.
Well..lets do some backlog then =P
15 October 05 (Saturday)After Jap class todae (Boi! how much we had missed out!!), we went to buy some stuff for the sukiyaki dinner tonite at my place. Yiming came to pick me and Jan up at Bugis Junction and then we headed for my house to have our BIG sukiyaki meal. Ne!! Oishii wa!! hehe We had so much food, we were all KO after 2 hours. even my dad had to help to finish some food. Mmm....sukiyaki with beer. Oh my god. Saturdays had never been so good. hehe
14 October 05 (friday)Lazy day, clearing all my backlog from the week of absence in Singapore. Finally finished all the urgent stuff, but guess i would have to stay late again on monday to finish the rest of things, before our new Marketing Manager and new sales person joins us... After dinner, went to Bedok to meet Ing Jen, and we head for Holland V to meet chiuso. We having an early Bdae dinner at our fav itialian restaurant @ Amici (i think so, im always bad at names) And wooo! me got a Bdae present! ehehe. Its a red epi leather LV card holder.. hehe..was looking at it to change my current monogram one...wah..chiuso still remembers.
BIG THANKIE TO CHIUSO N JENAnd one more thing that chiuso havent forgotten, i was looking high and low for that plant-in-the-can. He bought it for me again. hehe. Good now the other one has company =)
We had pastas and hoegarden (yeah..they don wan wine) and then we had coffee at coffee bean to end the nite. After that Jen sent us to chiuso house, then me went up to wait for him to burn me some disc...then he sent me home. Ohhh....good meal isnt it. =)
October, Kormarine 2005, Pusan, KoreaRushed whole day as we were supposed to catch the midnite flight to Seoul. Went home from office at about 8ish, then rush to shower, and packed the last stuff and then caught a cab to the airport. Met Daniel at the check in counter at 1030pm. Then we went cross customs and did some shopping at DFS. Anthony was as usual LATE....very LATE....we boarded the plane, and he is not hear yet. And mind you, we are already the last few who boarded the plane. Then he came...last minute, escorted by airport personnel...hmm....embarrasing ne...
Anyway..flight was BAD!!! there was a bad turbulence which was not detected by the radar. I once encountered bad turbulance which was juz shaking violently. THIS TIME ITS WORST, it descends so many metres downwards, and you could actually feel the G-force, as though i was taking the BIG GIANT DROP! my butt actually leaves my sit and then hit back on it like so many times until i was blur. I must admint i had the worst premonition at that time. The the LOUD and SHREKY screams from the Korean girls were not helping. Everyone juz panicked. Seems like as though its the end of the world. And the pilot was not even reporting on what happened. And i saw this poort steward got thrown out of the kitchenette and fell to the floor. Yes..FLEW OUT...litterally. in between the nasty 15 minutes, the captain only spoke one sentence " cabin crew back to seats" ...thats all!!! After about 15 minutes (feels like years) of torture, the captain finally spoke again. He said that there was an undetected turbulence on the radar.... everyone was like ".............................." pls tell me it detect other stuff.........anyway, i suspect its the air pocket..... Thank god im alive..... (i think i watched too much lost), when the thing happened, it was really scary , and i thought..wah..i don wanna die at work ne. And then flashes juz came thru my mind (so dramatic but true)...aiyoh....its chiuso and summer... haha....
anyway..arrive at Seoul and then took a domestic to Pusan. Mmmm...coooool air. so refreshing. Pusan is wonderful. the second biggest shipbuilding port. All i passed by was beach, sea, sand....its so nice. Juz like back in Sydney. We checked into our hotel - Westin Chosun beach. Goodness! what a ggreat view and great hotel. then we went to have breakie at the hotel cafe. great view as well. wonderful. Save these pictures in

Then we caught the shuttle bus to Bexco where Kormarine will be held. We did our simple set up, and then went back to hotel to chill a lil, then meet Dan and Anthony to discuss our sales meeting for the rest of the week. Then we went took a stroll along Haeundae beach and then to one of the local hot pot restuarant for dinner. Its was absolutely FANTASTIC! and who told me korean food is so bad that we have to bring maggie mee??!! Everything taste so good even the kimchi! After our HEAVY dinner, we walked around the little area, then stroll back to hotel. Oohh..finally we can sleep for the nite.
For the next few days, we had sales calls and meetings. not bad ne! hehe. Maxie also arrived and she will be sharing a room with me, coz by the time she joined Reed, we have already booked our room 3 months before. So , by the time she wanna come, there are no rooms already. Besides Kormarine in Pusan , it was the HUGE reknown PIFF - Pusan International Film Festival. So ...Pusan was PACKED in this week.
busy busy busy....with work and fun, finally the last day, Beth brought us to the city which was like 35 minutes taxi-hell-ride away. We shopped around the local shops, saw the makeshifts tents tarot card readers and then i bought 2 Cds, Rain and Boa, then we went for this really nice BBQ dinner. We went back to the hotel about 10ish, then joined Kathrin at the lounge for drinks...then we went back to pack and rest. Had a good sleep. on saturday, went to Bexco to comb the last few German sales. Then we rushed back to hotel to wait for the airport shuttle. i bought a mushroom and cheese quiche for quick bite. oh Yeah...last few days at Kormarine, while visiting the Austrian company for sales call with Kathrin, they treated me with the ORIGINAL
Saccher Torte (a great chocolate cake, only available in Vienna, they had to air flown in) and the wonderful double shot vienna coffee - expressos. Goodness...they have such goood cake and coffee! haha
So much for my week, waking up early, went jogging of strolling along the beach , then had breakfast, then shower and change to go work. Shiok...hehe
now its time to go back.......
